Activities in 2004

Women literacy project: The joint project of NRA, Rotary and Inner Wheel has started with a group of 800 women.

Training centre in Jhapa:The school building has been finished. New agricultural land for medicinal plants has been rent.

Finalisation of the ECCA-Project in Lantang:For 2 years camps were conducted dealing with ecological issues, literacy projects, health and hygiene.

Wheelchair project:We could again deliver many wheelchairs, this year for the first time also 3-wheeled wheelchairs.

Sushma Koirala Hospital: The hospital got several urgently needed books and a watertank containing 20.000l for fresh water named "Aachen Well".

Water Irrigation: New projects have been strated in Rasuwa District. We will now serve 4.000 people in 643 households with water for their fileds.

Health-Camp in Trishuli: A Team of Interplast conducted 42 operations in a Poliklinik in Trishuli.

One World festival Aachen:As usually NRA was represented on the One World festival in Aachen.

Nepal Calendar:As in 2003 all calendars could be sold.

Book-Bazaar in Einhard-Gymnasium: As every year we could sell lot´s of books at the bazaar to support our project.

DZI-Certificate: DZI Certificate proofs that donations are handled professionally and in a transparent way.
